Tricia Helfer in Playboy
Monday, January 22nd, 2007
I picked up the February issue of PLAYBOY with Battlestar Galactica’s Tricia Helfer on the cover. Actually, I forgot to get it when I went to the comic book store on Wednesday, so I asked Dave to get me a copy yesterday.
Apparently, it’s such a popular issue that Dave had to go to eight stores before he found a place where it wasn’t sold out. (Thanks, baby!) Or, maybe Playboy always sells out right away. I wouldn’t know.
How many wives send their husbands out to buy Playboy? Tampons, maxi pads, sure. Playboy magazine, not so much.
But hey, I’m not a pervert, or bi-curious or anything. It’s not like I wanted to see what Tricia looks like nude — let’s face it, she’s already shown a lot of skin in print already, not to mention how revealing her Cylon garb is.
No, what I really wanted to see was what type of photo shoot theme the magazine would go with and how nice they’d make her look. I’ve seen a few famous actresses pose for them, and truthfully, I thought they looked horrible.
Not so with Tricia. She’s looks beautiful and the photos are really tasteful. Is she airbrushed? Yeah. My friend says, yes, super airbushed, but I don’t know if it’s that much.
