Bang Your Head!

I just read today in the Friday Night Rocks news section that the word headbanger has been added to the dictionary. I looked it up and here’s what I found:

- both a hard rock musician and a fan
- a fan of heavy metal music: “an arena full of headbangers holding their lighters aloft”

Excellent! :::banging head, lighter aloft:::

Now all they need to do is add the related word headbang as well. How does one go about getting a word introduced into the dictionary?

Speaking of headbanging, I read somewhere that frequent headbanging can cause neck and spinal injuries as well as bone deterioration. This freaked me out because I’ve got enough health problems without having to worry if I’ll suffer the consequences of all these years of excessive headbanging. But, I figure if the guys from Slayer are still going strong, I should be fine.
