A new exhibit is opening at the California Science Center featuring the characters of the Marvel universe.

I had some trouble falling asleep last night. Perhaps it’s because I was weighed down by all the Golden Oreos in my stomach. I consumed a large quantity of them after Dave2 brought them to my attention. A quick check here greenlit the purchase and down the hatch they went. I do believe I’ve found a suitable replacement for #10.

My friend and I took the day off from work today in order to take a dairy-free cake-baking course at the local culinary school. It’s a 1-day class, and hopefully afterwards, I’ll be armed with lots of knowledge of how to make yummy, dairy-free desserts.

If you dig through my archives or look through my Flickr photos, you’ll see that I did quite a bit of baking. When I gave up dairy, I thought my baking hobby was over (sometimes I’m very naive). Now I know it doesn’t have to be. Details and pics (hopefully) to come real soon (that is, if I don’t fuck everything up completely).
