The five men of Engine 2’s C Team were featured in yesterday’s National section of the NY Times:
Firefighters Gone Vegan? Even Austin Is Impressed
The five firefighters of Team C at Firehouse 2 — Rip Esselstyn, James Rae, Matt Moore, Derick Zwerneman and Scott Walters — now eat vegan, taking turns whipping up plant-based fare like meatless and cheeseless pizza, pasta primavera and spinach enchiladas.

Dig the solar system news: On March 29, there will be a total solar eclipse, when the new Moon will pass directly between the Earth and the Sun, during which the Sun will be completely blocked by the Moon’s shadow.
The eclipse cannot be seen from North America, but NASA will provide coverage of the event via podcasts starting today.

Nice ‘puter! I bought one of the G5 iMacs last November shortly after they released the iMacs with the iSight built in. Mine doesn’t have it, but I never use video cameras. I’m a still photo kind of guy. But that MacBook Pro is sweet and I want one.
